Duration: I year

Eligibility Criteria: Madhyamik

This course aims in acquainting the students with the working knowledge of different types of fitting operation &a Process and Fitting equipments-Lathe & Drill machine, Basic Parts and different operation. Apart from this use of various cutting tools and measuring equipments are also being trained.

Fitters construct and assemble mechanical systems. … Some fitters choose to specialize in mechanical fitting, pipefitting, or steamfitting, others work in the heating and cooling industry maintaining and repairing systems in commercial or factory settings. The manufacturing industry is the largest employer of fitters.
Fitter is a good course for those candidates who have an interest in machines and aspiring to gain technical knowledge on the working of parts of the machine. The demand for ITI Fitter candidates is also high because of the usage of the machine in various industries

Fitters & Turners are highly skilled crafts people who manufacture and construct components for machinery and use power operated tools such as lathes, milling- and drilling machines. They maintain and repair many different kinds of machines. … It is a highly skilled job.
